CHMF Associates Bring Home the Kaizen Star Award

Chennai Manufacturing Facility (CHMF) associates S. Manikandan, Operating Engineer, Quality; R. Kathiravan, Team Leader, SQE; A. Sudalai, Senior Engineer, Quality; and D. Saravanan, Operating Engineer, SQA recently won the Kaizen Star Award. The team was selected from more than 150 teams of OEM manufacturers and suppliers that participated in a Kaizen competition organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in October 2016. The CHMF team won the award for their project presentation on “Paint peel off elimination in MDT rear axle”.

“We are proud of our team for winning this competition,” said Amit Gupta, Managing Director, AAM India. “This award not only acknowledges our dedication to Kaizen practices, but it also reflects our commitment to exceeding customer requirements.”
