AAM Named One of America’s Best Midsize Employers by Forbes

American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) was named one of America’s best employers by Forbes in its annual ranking of U.S. mid-size companies. AAM is one of just two suppliers and four automotive companies on the list that names America’s Best Midsize Employers for 2017. The ranking includes 301 companies with 1,000 to 5,000 U.S. employees in 25 industries.

The list was compiled based on an independent survey of 30,000 employees from companies from all industry sectors in the U.S.  Employees were surveyed through several anonymous online panels without consultation from employers. The willingness to recommend one’s own employer was the most important metric of the survey.

The America’s Best Employers 2017 list was compiled by statistics portal Statista, which surveyed employees at more than 1,800 companies employing more than 1,000 full-time and part-time workers in the U.S. The 10-15 minute survey asked 35 questions about work-related topics.
